Calling out Zues McKenna . . .

*The camera cuts in on ringside as we see Granville Viscera and Marcus Viafildis discussing an upcoming match.*



Granville Viscera: "Wow what a crowd reaction we witnessed earlier from Zeus McKenna. Now there is a fans favourite if ever I saw one."

Marcus Viafildis: "Unbelievable that is actually something we can agree on. Brooklyn Basher had better be scared going into his match tonight. I cannot see Brooklyn going any further in this competition and it is no more than he deserves."


*Suddenly the lights dim as "Creed - My sacrifice" blares out of every speaker in the arena. A video showing Brooklyn Bashers best moments hits as he appears at the top of the ramp. A slight cheers erupts from certain sections of the crowd as Brooklyn Basher marches to the ring and climbs in. He stands in the centre of the ring, stands to attention and salutes to each section of the crowd.*

Marcus Viafildis: "Damn, not this idiot again. His interview wasn't bad enough, now we have to see him coming down to the ring and spout yet more nonsense. I think this kid likes the camera more than the wrestling. Somebody please shut him up before he opens his mouth."

Granville Viscera: "You really don't like this guy do you? You throw insults at him every chance you get. What has he ever done to you?"

Marcus Viafildis: "You got in one Granville. What's he ever done? I'll tell you . . absolutley nothing. This young kid comes along with his parents money and no care in the world. He has only been on one show and he thinks he is the best there is. He has a long way to go to match any of the wrestlers on the roster. Starting tonight with Zeus McKenna. I mean the kid doesn't even get that good a reaction from the crowd."

Granville Viscera: "He did beat The Kings last week, don't forget. At least give the man a change to speak, and he is not a kid you know Marcus. After all he isn't a baby goat."

*There are still only small sections of the crowd that are cheering for Brooklyn Basher as he finishes his saluting to the fans. He gets handed a microphone as his music and video cut out and the lights glare again.*

Brooklyn Basher: "I fear no man. In fact I haven't felt fear for so long I don't even know what it feels like. Being in the British Army has given me certain attributes that no other wrestler has. Am I the best?"

*Brooklyn Basher holds the microphone out to the crowd, where it seems even less people are cheering than before. A chorus of boos emanate from one side of the arena and soon the majority of the fans are joining in.*

Marcus Viafildis: "See Granville I told you he thinks he better than everyone else. The fans agree with me and are putting him in his place. It's going to take a lot more than just trying to please the crowd to actually please them. These fans, despite how they look, aren't stupid after all."

*A displeased look appears across the face of Brooklyn Basher for an instant before his charismatic smile returns.*

Brooklyn Basher: "I am pleased to see the crowd are honest with me. I know I am not the best, I am far from it. I aim to be the best but to do that I have to show you fans each and every week something you have never seen before."

*Upon hearing this the boos quiet down, as cheering starts to take its place.*

Brooklyn Basher: "I respect each and everyone of you. I will only be the best when each and every fan thinks so. Everything I do is to please the fans. Last week I defeated The Kings, tonight I face Zeus McKenna."

*A loud uproarious cheer suddenly rings out from the crowd.*

Brooklyn Basher: "I will give everything I have in the ring tonight, whether I win or lose. I said before I fear no man and I meant that. I also said that I would come to this ring and call out Zeus McKenna. I will not bore you fans anymore with talk, its time for some action.

*Another almighty cheer resounds from the crowd.*

Brooklyn Basher: "And you can count on that . . . . . Zeus McKenna! . . . . . Zeus McKenna! . . . . "

*Brooklyn Basher drops the microphone to the canvas as he waits.*

Granville Viscera: "See Marcus he doesn't think he is the best there is. That's just you putting words into his mouth. Although I'm thinking it wasn't the best idea for Brooklyn to call out big Zeus McKenna."

Marcus Viafildis: "You're right Granville. Brooklyn Basher might have just bitten off more than he can chew."

OOC Note - BrooklynBasher, any notes you have, any additional dialogue, or playing this differently, I can change what I put down. I'm figuring this is all pre-our match? Nice writeup. Anyways...

Off-Camera Voice: "Now THAT is how you call someone out!"

*The arena lights go off.*

Marcus Viafildis: "And here comes THE BIG DOG himself! Ha ha ha..."

*"You gotta move..." is heard. Rollin & Tumblin starts playing just as lightning bolts hit the entry ramp with the sound of thunder. The crowd goes off. Zeus McKenna strides forth into the spotlight as the house lights slowly come up.*

Zeus McKenna: "See? You want something done? Go out there and do it! And you, sir..."

*He points at Brooklyn Basher with a smile on his face.*

Zeus McKenna: "That's what you just did. And here I am!"

*He holds his hands to the sides and upwards, then leaps to the apron, wipes his feet, and ducks in.*

Zeus McKenna: "But let me say, before I flatten you out and serve you with my grits - that I appreciate your approach. Some might call it honorable. I just call it being a man."

*The crowd cheers as he holds out his hand. Brooklyn Basher looks around, then looks Zeus McKenna in the eye - and shakes the hand. They give a quick tight nod to each other, and back off to their corners.*

Marcus Viafildis: "Oh my god, I think I'm gonna puke. Who do these two think they are? It's pathetic!"

Granville Viscera: "It's honest dealings. That's what it is. I'm not surprised you're allergic to it, Marcus..."

OOC - Possibly, the winner could raise the loser's hand after the match? Code of Honor and all that?
