The GM and Gyalin Reece Empty The GM and Gyalin Reece

Post  Gyalin Reece. Sat Jan 21, 2012 2:10 pm

*Gyalin Reece, instead of knocking, opens the GM's door and slams it behind him. He faces Christopher Weich who stood up.*

Christopher Weich: "What the hell..... Oh, Gyalin. Hey Champ. What's on your mind?"

Gyalin Reece: "Don't hey champ me Weich. Last week it was TDG, and, for the good of everything, and for your sake, I put my health, and the future risk of my title on the line and fought that match. I came out of it alive. And now this week, you pair me against a man that, granted, he doesn't mean much, but, you paired me against a fool? He has done nothing. He's had little to no feuds, he has not made a name for himself, and yet, he is getting treated like.... like..."

*Gyalin could not come up with a strong enough word to express his outrage.*

Christopher Weich: "It was not my doing. He is cashing in his People's Championship. Not only that, but I think he signed off on his own match. I think he has the authority. I don't know how, but my hands are tied, just as they were tied last week. I can't touch Banjo. He's a (*insert here*) golden coin. I can't do anything to him, not until he loses a match. And, you know, it is his idea for you to lose your match tonight. I can't have that happen. My federation will be ruined in the process."

Gyalin Reece: "Don't I know it. Once upon a time, he was stronger than me. Just recently, I was out of shape and he was still a tad better than me, but, after I went through some cardio, trained myself back up even stronger, I will have no problem against him."

*Gyalin Reece's temper cooled as he looked at the boss who was wringing his hands. The boss took a deep breath and turned to face Gyalin Reece as if he had his mind made up on an extremely important, and possibly costly matter.*

*Weich spoke in his tone of authority*

Christopher Weich: "Gyalin, Renegade is broken. There are only a few of you left. I have been thinking all day, all day about what needed to be done, and, I think I have finally made up my mind."

*Weich looked Gyalin dead in the face as he spoke.*

Christopher Weich
: "This federation is dying. It still might die, but, right now, it still has legs and anything is possible. But, if Banjo defeats you tonight, then, it all dies tonight. You have to win, you hear me, you have to win."

*Weich took another deep breath*

Gyalin Reece: "I understand."

Christopher Weich: "You better understand Gyalin, because, if you lose to Banjo tonight, you are fired from this Federation. You lose, you are fired. If you lose, this fed is dead now, and thus, I will no longer have need of you. Think of your match tonight as a career match for you. You lose, you're fired. Now, get out of my office. I have more thinking to do."
