Brooklyn Basher and the GM

*The camera follows Brooklyn Basher as he makes his way down a backstage corridor. He comes to door where the camera shows a sign reading "GM Christopher Weich". Brooklyn Basher knocks on the door and waits. No answer is forthcoming so he again is seen to knock once on the door. Brooklyn Basher again waits as still no answer is apparent. He raises his right hand to knock a third time but before his hand can strike the door it opens. A voice is heard from the ajar door but no one can be seen.*

Brooklyn Basher: "Nice of you to show up, I had to knock twice . . You are lucky I have the patience of a saint or things right now might be different".

*A short sharp laugh is heard but still the man remains behind the door out of shot of the camera.*

Brooklyn Basher: "So are you going to let me in or do I have to stand here like an idiot?"

*The door opens wider and Brooklyn Basher steps through before the camera can join him in the room the door slams shut. Shouts and the sound of a scuffle are heard through the door. Suddenly the door opens and the camera takes a moment to focus in the room. The office is a mess with an upturned table, furniture torn and papers scattered all over the place. The camera goes to floor where Brooklyn Basher is seen laying unconscious. The camera moves back up to the overturned desk and the figure of Christopher Weich rises from behind it. He has a look of concern on his face, he takes a mobile phone out of his suit pocket before dialing a number. The phone can be heard ringing, then a click denotes the recipient answering.*

Christopher Weich: "If you think I like what you just did you have another thing coming. I know how to deal with my wrestlers and I DO NOT take kindly to you interfering. You have made me force my hand, good luck tonight".

*He cuts the call without bothering to wait for a response. A sound is heard behind the camera as it moves slightly away from the office doorway, the figure in the office remains with their back to the camera as another man enters the room.*

Marcus Viafildis: "What . . . What . . . . What is going on here?"

*His voice is racked with nerves. Marcus moves inside the office as he comes to still form of Brooklyn Basher. A smile spreads across his face as he looks up to the GM.*

Marcus Viafildis: "I did come here hoping to have a word with you about firing him but giving him a good beating as punishment suits me just fine".

Christopher Weich: "For your information Marcus I did not do that to Brooklyn Basher, it seems someone else has it in for him and I have dealt with that already. I do have an announcement to make regarding Brooklyn Basher which I think you will be very pleased about Marcus".

Marcus Viafildis: "That's a relief Chris I was going to give you ultimatum and not go back to commentary until Brooklyn Basher was fired".

Christopher Weich: "As I said you should be pleased with what I have planned, now please go back to the job which I'm paying you to do before I start thinking about hiring a new commentator".

*Marcus laughs, gives Brooklyn Basher a kick before turning towards the camera and the door.*

Christopher Weich: "One more thing thing Marcus, it Mr Weich to you".

*Marcus stops laughing but a smile remains on his face as he leaves the General Manager's office. A groan comes from Brooklyn Basher who is still laying on the floor.*

Christopher Weich: "Can someone bring a bucket of water and wake him up please he making my office look a mess".

*A security guard enters after a few moments with a cup of water in hand, he walks up to Brooklyn Basher and pours the water on his head. He comes awake instantly, sits up and shakes his head slightly.*

Christopher Weich: "You better get ready for a match against your attacker BB and as I'm the boss and I say when someone should be attacked you can have a helping hand in your match tonight".

*Brooklyn Basher still sits on the floor shaking his head as the camera cuts away.*
