BB interview time

*The camera cuts in after the match to the locker room. Brooklyn Basher can be seen on camera doing one handed press-ups. A lady appears on the edge of the camera, she steps in closer to Brooklyn Basher as the familiar face of Josephine Steinmann comes into view. She smiles slightly at the sight of Brooklyn Basher before loudly clearing her throat.*

Brooklyn Basher: "I know you're there Miss Steinmann, I would recognise that perfume you wear anywhere".

*Brooklyn Basher continues to do his one handed press-ups while Josephine stands over him.*

Josephine Steinmann: "I can see your busy. Do you want me to come back later BB?"

*Brooklyn Basher doesn't stop the press-ups so Josephine Steinmann turns to leave.*

Brooklyn Basher: "Er Miss Steinmann I didn't ask you to leave. I can do these while doing an interview".

*Josephine Steinmann swings around again and returns to stand over Brooklyn Basher. She has a rather impressive smile on her face as she shakes her head to remove the smile and ask her questions.*

Josephine Steinmann: "Well BB first question. You admit that you haven't been very impressive performance wise lately, can you see anyway you can turn it around?"

*Brooklyn Basher continues to do his one handed press-ups as Josephine waits patiently for her reply. He stops an upwards push as if weighing his words, he then does two more press-ups before coming back to the upwards position.*

Brooklyn Basher: "Look Miss Steinmann I have been giving my all in every match that I have fought here in World of Wrestling. I have not given up on my principles so far and I do not plan on doing it now. I know I must improve and I do try too, I don't have any special plan for turning things around but I'm determined to do it without anyone's help".

*Brooklyn Basher then returns to his one handed press-ups as Josephine remains looking on impressed. She takes a moment before asking her next question.*

Josephine Steinmann: "Speaking of which, Bade Warrett has been offering to give you a helping hand in one of your matches. Do you think you will take him up on that offer?"

*Brooklyn Basher continues to do his one handed press-ups, this time he doesn't stop to answer the question.*

Brooklyn Basher: "Absolutely not, I told you I will not change my way of doing things Miss Steinmann. Some people would take Mr Warrett up on his offer of getting a helping hand to win matches but that just isn't me. What kind of person would I be taking that help when I have complained to the GM about other people doing it. The British Army taught me better than that".

*Josephine Steinmann goes slightly red at the responce and she hurries on with her next question.*

Josephine Steinmann: "Sorry to have asked BB. Moving on to a different subject. Gyalin Reece last week offered you the chance to challenge for his title at this seasons PPV but only if you can beat a wrestler of note tonight. Do you know who that opponent will be?"

Brooklyn Basher: "I do Miss Steinmann it will be my old buddy Zeus McKenna, funny how he started me on this losing streak and he could be the one to end it. I have nothing but respect for that guy so I know I will have to give the performance of my life to stand any chance of winning".

*Brooklyn Basher can still be seen doing his one handed press-ups, Josephine Steinmann is about to ask another question when Brooklyn Basher pushes up mightily from a press-up. He switches hands while he is mid air and falls back down on his other arm to continue his one handed press-ups. An impressed "humph" escapes Josephine's lips.*

Josephine Steinmann: "Well you certainly seem to be rather strong going into your match with Zeus. I don't have any further questions for you BB, so I will say thank you and leave you to it".

*Josephine Steinmann stops a moment to watch Brooklyn Basher continue his one handed press-ups. Just before she can turn around to leave the room another figure appears behind her. The figure is dressed in a sharp pin-stripped suit, his back is to the camera but his voice is instantly recognisable.*

Christopher Weich: "Brooklyn Basher just the man I wanted to see".

*Brooklyn Basher stops in mid press-up, he places both hands on the floor then gives himself a mighty push-up to come up standing on his feet. Josephine Steinmann looks first at Christopher Weich and then at Brooklyn Basher. She turns to leave.*

Christopher Weich: "Oh I think you're going to want to stay and hear this Josephine".

*Josephine Steinmann stops before she has stepped a pace, she turns back to the GM and Brooklyn Basher as the colour drains from her face. Brooklyn Basher has a smile on his face although not as large as normal and the GM remains with his back to the camera.*

Brooklyn Basher: "Whatever it is you've got to say Mr Weich I've heard it all before so why don't you just save your breath and leave me to get ready for my match".

Christopher Weich: "That was rather rude BB, I thought you have better manners than that ... I can understand your frustration though so I will let that one slide. Now on to business. You are forever telling me that I don't know what is good for business. I admit that some of my actions have been questionable over the weeks but one thing I have always done is remained fair. Last week I had the unpleasant notion of having to fire one of my top performers in the federation, that got me to thinking, why should I have fired one of my better performers last week when I let some of worst remain? The answers simple. You have told me many a time, I do not know what is good for business. That will all change tonight".

*The GM pauses a moment as Brooklyn Basher and Josephine Steinmann remain quiet. After a while the GM finally speaks.*

Christopher Weich: "Tonight as you know you have a match against Zeus McKenna. I know he is the person you first lost to in this Federation so it seems only fitting that he could be the last person you fight in this Federation".

*Josephine Steinmann goes rigid at what the GM just said. Brooklyn Basher loses him smile completely as a bemused look overtakes it. The GM pauses only a few seconds before continuing.*

Christopher Weich: "What that will mean for you BB is this: If you lose against Zeus McKenna tonight then straight after your match I will come down to that ring and fire you".

*Brooklyn Basher looks ashen face as Josephine's eyes start to well up.*

Christopher Weich: "As I told I know what is good for business and as you have been fair to me BB, I will be fair to you. If you can beat Zeus McKenna tonight then not only will you remain in this federation, you will also get the chance to challenge Tiger Mask for his National Championship belt. That means if you beat him and you beat Gyalin Reece at the PPV you could find yourself with not only one but two belts, or if you lose you could find yourself having to walk home from France".

*A look of optmisim spreads over Brooklyn Basher's face.*

Christopher Weich: "Despite what happens tonight BB, I like you ... So least to say I hope you win tonight, Josephine enjoy your evening".

*The GM moves off camera as Josephine moves towards Brooklyn, he looks down at Josephine as she smiles.*

Brooklyn Basher: "I stand corrected Miss Steinmann, it appears Mr Weich does know what is good for business after all. If this is to be my last night in WW, then just know it's always been a pleasure to talk to you Josephine".

*Brooklyn Basher returns the smile, gives her a nod of the head, then departs leaving Josephine alone in the locker room.*
