Pre-Match Interview

*Screen cuts to the backstage interview area, where Josephine Steinmann is stood waiting to interview another World of Wrestling superstar*

Josephine Steinmann: "Hello, tonight I'm joined by Brooklyn Basher for his first interview on World of Wrestling."

*Brooklyn Basher steps into the shot, with a teeth baring grin across his face. He winks to camera, then salutes the fans. He turns to Josephine awaiting her first question.*

Josephine Steinmann: "First of all thank you for joining me Brooklyn Basher."

Brooklyn Basher: "Your welcome Josephine, although please call me Brooklyn."

Josephine Steinmann: "Okay thank you Brooklyn. Welcome to World of Wrestling, how are you feeling about your first match on the show against KINGS?"

Brooklyn Basher: "I'm really excited to be honest, I can't wait to show the fans what I can do."

Josephine Steinmann: "With you growing up in England, without your parents and then your service with the British Army, do you feel that this will give you an edge in the ring?"

Brooklyn Basher: "As I said in the ring a few moments ago, I am as tough as they come, I have the athleticism, stamina and moves to be one of the top guys in the brand."

Josephine Steinmann: "Do you have a game plan going into your match tonight?"

Brooklyn Basher: "I will not give too much away, just know that I plan on making KINGS tap out to my Brooklyn Deathlock. I might throw in a Brooklyn Bash if the opportunity presents itself."

Josephine Steinmann: "Do you think you have what it takes to go all the way in this tournament and become the first National Champion?"

Brooklyn Basher: "Am I confident in my abilities? Yes. Do I think I am better than the other wrestler challenging for this title? I will answer that later."

Josephine Steinmann: "Finally Brooklyn I have to ask, why do you wear an eye patch?"

Brooklyn Basher: "It's not something I usually talk about. Lets just say if I didn't wear it, I wouldn't be on TV."

*Brooklyn Basher turns back to face the camera. The camera zooms in closer to Brooklyn Basher so only he can be seen in the shot. With a serious expression and a sombre tone Brooklyn speaks*

Brooklyn Basher: "I aim to win this title and I know this will be the first of many titles I shall hold on this show. I am afraid of no man. I will give the fans everything I have and you will all remember the name Brooklyn Basher!!"

*A broad smile spreads across Brooklyn Basher's face. He winks at the camera with his one visible eye. He stands up straight and salutes to the fans. The camera then zooms out to again show Josephine. Brooklyn Basher turns to Josephine, smiles and walks away.*
